Laura Wool, Master Decorative Painter
Laura Wool – Faux and Texture Painting Master
Some of the greatest artists in the world took a unique path to find their calling. Such is the case with Laura Wool, decorative and faux painting master. Spending time in the business world as well as in the nonprofit sector gave her experience that few other artists like her possess: an understanding of process and function, the value of providing a quality service, an appreciation for budgets, and a commitment to her craft.
Laura began her artistic pursuits in high school where she won numerous accolades for her landscapes and still life paintings. In college she took a detour to study accounting and sociology and to earn her MBA. She then landed top positions in the nonprofit arena, giving her the opportunity to share her passion for helping others.
The muse was awakened, and Laura left the world of nonprofits to work for an award-winning interior design firm in Atlanta, fueling her desire to pursue professional training in decorative, textured and faux painting. Professionally trained by some of the world’s top decorative artists, Laura uses a broad array of decorative and faux painting techniques, like texture paints and Venetian plaster, to transform surfaces into rich and personal spaces. She consistently delivers superior custom painted finishes, quality craftsmanship, and service that exceed expectations.
Since the establishment of Laura Wool Enterprises LLC, Laura has continued her professional education in order to stay up on the latest design techniques and methods, providing you with designer quality decorative painting, Venetian plasters, and faux finishing. Laura is an Industry Partner with the American Society of Interior Design.
